This is a great place to get your basic things and try new things. I love the new remodel. If you forget to bring bags look for empty boxes to use. I like to use boxes that held something heavy in it before. Like jugs of juice/water. This is so I know it's strong. Some of their store brand products are hits. It's just one of those things you try different things to see. I love most their products.
They just finished remodeling this Aldi (Dec 2017). It is great! Designed like a specialty grocer, but with MUCH lower prices. They now carry a wide variety of produce-conventional & organic, as well as a large variety of low-priced wines. Weekly specials are really good deals. Checkout is usually very fast with short lines and speedy, but friendly cashiers.
I've shopped at Aldis off and on since they built one near here...usually for special things, but with the upgrades and remodel I may just shop here all the time! Prices are just as amazing with tons more items to choose from! And as always, the staff is courteous and helpful!
Prices are usually pretty good and the produce is better than Walmart. However, we have more than once picked up produce just to get it home and find that it has mold from going from cold to warm and getting condensation. The crescent rolls are always very good.
There were extra cashiers on hand as it is close to Thanksgiving. I come for the spiral ham, which is great. I also love many of their in house versions, such as cream cheese, milk, spices and produce. They do not accept coupons, but do accept credit cards now.
Aldis underwent a remodel that makes it closer in layout to traditional stores. Thd produce is more plentiful and now located in the front as you walk in. There are many new specialty items to be found past that. The wine and beer selection has been enlarged. Bread is now on the rear wall in neat baskets. Fresh meats also moved up to the front of the store.
