Not very handicapped friendly. Twice recently, I have visited the store, once in my wheelchair and once on my walker. Both times, as I struggled with the door, employees stood nearby discussing politics or world issues and made no effort to assist me at the door. They were, however happy to take my money as I left the store. Other hardware stores in the Kernersville area have made efforts to ease entry, and even bring items to me in the car making my shopping easier.

The best plumbing department in the state
Always friendly, always helpful. My 2 year-old granddaughter calls it 'The Popcorn Store' and 'needs' to stop there a couple times a month to get a bag for her and her papa. I used to go to Farmers Hardware as an afterthought when I couldn't find something at a big box store, but 9 times out of 10 they have some random piece of plumbing or a drill bit or twine or just the right dust pan to make a 2 year old happy... so now I head there first, before taking the journey to the big box for a handful of black 1 1/2" screws. Prices always competitive.
