I can see that nothing has changed there. If you call to try and schedule a appointment, they are very very rude. Some of them will actually hang up the phone. Also when you call to make a appointment, they will ask you why do you need a appointment. If I'm calling isn't it obvious? Their customer service skills are just horrendous. Veterans are already under a lot of stress and it would be really nice to have someone their who would try and understand that. I see why so many veterans take their own lives because of the treatment and non caring staff members working there. Sad sad times.

The most recent of the VA hospital clinics to be installed in North Carolina. Has a full range of options for Primary Care and the majority of the additional clinics expected of a civilian hospital. Normal government hours 0800-1700 (parking lot opens at 0700 and closes at 1900). Easy to get to, easy to find. Multiple check in electronic kiosks on all levels. Very friendly and helpful volunteer staff (coffee desk on second deck). The doctors and nursing staff I have encountered so far are all very friendly, helpful, and [most of all] knowledgeable. The initial check in staff are very understanding of those new to the system and ensure that you get all the correct paperwork submitted. On site security from parking lot open to close.
After a year of waiting I finally got my knee brace. Thank you. That being said it was a hassle to order and track. I was told by a VA rep that it was Trumps fault and that "Trump is not my President"
Nothing but top notch care and treatment from these gracious people. My primary care and all involved treat me with kindness and concern. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility to any veteran. Only sub par thing is call backs take an extended time, so i recommend using the HealtheVet App for scheduling. Thank you all other veterans and active duty for your sacrifices!
